Step 1: Click
inside the “What are you looking for?” search field. This will take you to
the next screen. *Note* Make
sure the location is correct. If you need to change the location, click the
“X” to clear the field. Start typing the City or Zip Code you wish to search
for and results will begin to autofill.
|
Step 2: Start
typing the specialty, provider name, or facility name that you are looking
for in the search field or you can choose one of the common searches from the
list. *Note* In
some instances, searching by the alias specialty name will bring up results
for the specialty you are looking for (i.e typing “heart doctor” will bring
up results for Cardiology).

|
Step 3: As you start typing, results matching your search will begin to autofill. Results will be grouped together by category. When you see what you are looking for, make your selection by tapping on it. Step 4: Once you make your selection, this will take you back to the “Where are you located?” and “What are you looking for?” page of Provider Guide. Both fields should be filled in. Click the “Search” button. *Note* If you
do not make a selection from one of the categories on the list, you will get
a screen pop asking you to choose a category to search by. (See the example in the next screenshot)
Step 5: Clicking the search button will bring up a map and a list of providers that match your search. Find a provider that fits your needs by scrolling through the list of providers, or click a red pin on the map to see a shorter list of providers in a more confined area. |

Step 1: Click the “Best Match” drop down arrow to change the Sort
option. By default, Provider Guide sorts search results by "Best Match." The "Best Match" sort uses an algorithm that will show providers closest to to you with the highest quality and benefits coverage. *Note* You can only select one category to sort by at a time.
Step 2: Once you have made your selection, tap “Done” in the top right corner of the Sort window.
|
|
Step 1: Click the “Filter” drop down arrow to select your filter options. Step 2: Check the box(es) next to the option you wish to filter by. *Note* To uncheck a box, click inside the box again to remove the
check mark. To clear all filters, tap “Clear” in the top left corner of the filter
window.
Step 3: Tap “Done” in the top right corner of the filter window to apply the filter(s) to your search.
